Turnbull Hutton’s Selective Agenda

It seems that Turnbull Hutton is trying to out-do his fellow participants from Alex "Toxic" Thomson’s fictional propaganda piece on the Rangers support last Friday.

This week, Thomson himself, Graham Spiers, and now Hutton are repeating and repeating again their evidence-free allegations against the support.

Hutton’s attack on Alex Salmond was bordering on bizarre, with a wide ranging assault on the SNP Administration’s efforts on “Sectarianism”.

Firstly, he alleges threats to himself, his football club, and Alex Thomson, without a shred of evidence.
Then he takes it further by implying this is a problem connected to sectarianism.

Quite how he arrived at that conclusion is anyone’s guess.

Thomson claims a “Scottish Presbyterian” heritage, and no one knows or cares what religion Hutton is.
If there were any “threats”, I’d like to know how they could possibly be sectarian?

The claims of Salmond’s administration being weak on sectarianism, are only partially true.

If you are a Rangers fan, you get followed around the country by the FOCUS STASI, and if you support any other team, you are given carte blanche to sing and do as you like, especially is the recipient is a supporter of Rangers  or a player for Rangers.

Hutton has a bee in his bonnet about “sectarianism” and about the Rangers support, but seems mute when  Raith Rovers fans step out of line.

I don’t recall him requesting that his own fans refrain from singing sectarian slogans?

Perhaps he missed it.

Maybe this will refresh his memory.

In this game you can hear the Rovers fans sing as follows:

6:00 minutes in (“Go home Ya Huns)
7:20 minutes in (“Sad Orange Bastard”)
9:16 minutes in (“Dirty Orange Bastards”)

Will Turnbull turn his anger on his own support, or is it only Rangers fans who wish integrity and transparency, and won’t be silenced by bullies trying to suppress free speech, that he has an issue with?

We should be told

Posting Archive Blogs

I have started to migrate my old blog posts from the Wordpress blog. I know people don’t often read old blog posts, as the blogging world, like Social Media, is very dynamic, but I hope that you can read these old blogs with the benefit of hindsight, and also find them a good reference point for a documentation of opinion during the darkest period for Rangers since the Ibrox Disaster.

You may not agree with some of my old posts, and I know my opinions have changed on certain matters, however, I stand by the fact that at the time of publishing, these blogs were a valid opinion.

The comments facility is here, but I will not be approving comments against the archive blogs as they have been discussed to death over on the wordpress blog.

What I would ask, as I understand there are journalists and writers compiling material for books, is that anything lifted from here, or anything I have revealed first, be credited to me.

It’s only fair that the effort involved in producing a blog, sourcing information, and presenting it to the masses is recognised where appropriate.

As I posted in my introduction to the Wordpress blog, I have no interest in writing for any website, or being part of any supporters forum.

Believe me, I’ve been there a number of years ago, and the herd mentality is something that doesn’t sit well with me.

It means that I can be objective without influence and without interference or sanitisation.

I therefor do not publicise my blogs on any Rangers forum, and simply do so on Twitter

If you wish to post my work on Rangers forums, feel free, but again, I’d ask that the link be posted and that I be credited

WP Archives: Murdoch, Salmond and Dani Garavelli (Feb 26 2012)

I’ll state up front that I dislike both Murdoch and Salmond, and I dislike their apparent arrangement to promote the nationalist cause in The Sun.
This was going to be the basis for a lengthy blogpost over the next few days. So, I started compiling some relevant information, bookmarks, and new reports, given the unofficial announcement of a referendum date in said rag.
Imagine my surprise, when Scotland on Sunday’s hatchet job on the relationship by Dani Garavelli referred to Murdoch’s heritage by including the terms “presbyterian”, and “calvinist”.
Quite what relevance his religion, or perceived religion is, is anyone’s guess.
http://www.scotsman.com/scotland-on-sunday/opinion/comment/a_fine_bromance_uncovering_alex_salmond_and_rupert_murdoch_s_courtship_1_2139337
Dani, of course, is a Roman Catholic, as she has previously written.
So what is she trying to do?
Paint the notorious right winger with the even more unfashionable tag in Scotland of “Protestant”? If so, why?
Being a Roman Catholic, Garavelli should be aware that Murdoch has a papal knighthood after donating $10M to the church.
http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/commentandblogs/2011/07/08/debate-should-rupert-murdochs-papal-knighthood-be-rescinded/
That isn’t relevant to the relationship between Salmond and Murdoch either, but has been omitted.
More on the relationship between the two soon, but remember to read coverage in Scotland very carefully.

WP Archives: Save Rangers, Gersave, Trust Vehicles – Haven’t We Been Here Before? (Feb 23 2012)

It should come as no surprise that a vehicle has been created by the Rangers Supporters Trust for people to pledge funds to “Save the Club”.
We’ve been here before, with a initiative called “Gersave”, also created by and administered by the RST.
While the Rangers Supporters Assembly and Rangers Supporters Association have endorsed the site, and the principle of a fund to save the club, it’s most certainly an RST initiative.
The Domain name was registered by the Trust, the contact address for the site is the same as the Trust, and the website appears to have been created by the same person who is admin on the Trust site.
Gersave was an unmitigated disaster for the Trust. Despite this being heavily promoted, it raised a total sum for Rangers, of £50,000.
It is believed gersave revenue to the Trust totals at circa £150,000
Where is the £100,000 that people invested believing it was buying a stake in the club? Bear in mind this scheme started in 2007.
As the Trust has rounded on Rangers Chairman Craig Whyte with a number of accusations as to his honesty, it is noticeable that the RST accounts are no longer on the Trust Website. They used to be.
The original Gersave scheme is clearly in the process of being rebranded, under the more dynamic “Save Rangers” tag.
No Wonder.
The Previous scheme happened to be administered through a firm called Direct Sharedeal Ltd.
One of its Directors at the time of setting up the scheme was the then Chairman of the Rangers Supporters Trust, Malcolm McNiven.
I understand various board members of the Trust were asked by Rangers fans if Mr McNiven would personally benefit in any way from the scheme.
They were told in no uncertain terms no.
When details were requested, at least one of those asking the pertinent questions was banned from the Follow Follow forum, which has very close links to the Trust.
It is understood Mr McNiven did not benefit directly from the scheme, which is believed to have been run “for free” by the company.  It is unclear if he benefited indirectly through the increase in custom and any related bonuses from the business.
McNiven and his partners later sold the firm to form his own company, Chryson Limited however Direct Sharedeal remained the broker for the Gersave scheme.
In its new guise, without McNiven, Direct Sharedeal were fined £101,500 by the FSA
“The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined Glasgow-based stock broking firm Direct Sharedeal Limited (DSL) £101,500 after its appointed representative, First Colonial Investments LLP (FCI), used misleading sales pitches which failed to set out the inherent risks of buying penny shares.
DSL specialises in spread betting and share dealing.  It provided an avenue for FCI to carry out penny share sales, and should have made sure that FCI was providing customers with accurate and sufficient advice to make informed decisions about whether to invest in penny shares.
However, an FSA investigation found FCI’s sales showed scant regard for their customers.  Potentially misleading sales pitches were used to persuade people to buy shares, regardless of whether those shares were suitable.  FCI failed to mention the risks associated with their recommendations, and made misleading statements about the companies they were advising people to invest in.
FCI also placed its customers’ money at risk by holding it in a connected, but unregulated, firm.  As a result, DSL was fined £101,500 for failing to monitor FCI’s customer treatment, along with that of other former appointed representatives.”
If any new scheme instigated by the RST/ Save Rangers is intending to utilise the services of Direct Sharedeal, I’d advise extreme caution.
Will they instead use Chryson, McNiven’s new company, and will he benefit in any way?
With RST Board Member Mark Dingwall himself previously at the centre of allegations about financial transactions between his website “followfollow”, and the Trust, it should ring alarm bells for anyone wishing to donate to “Save Rangers”
The financial management of the Trust is laid bare here with great care by former RST Secretary Alan Harris, who resigned from the board in disgust at it’s management.
Are the Trust really in any position to a) attack Craig Whyte for his movement of funds between business interests or non payment of bills, or b) manage third parties’ money?
The current scheme “Save Rangers” at saverangers.com is a Trust scheme. Even the contact email address on the website is rst@saverangers.com
I’m told that Senior Trust members are boasting today that the pledges to the site are sitting at upwards of £4M, while conveniently ignoring the claims on many Celtic forums that they are making meaningless high value pledges “furra laugh”
In the last week, since Rangers entered administration, the Trust has been all over the media recruiting members.
At £10 a time, without even the benefit of a Rangers share thrown in as used to be the case, what exactly will you get?
The kudos of being a Trust member? It certainly gets you little else.
If you wish to “save rangers”, then I suggest you contact Rangers’ Administrators directly, discuss any options and make a decision on what to do with your money.
Remember this before you part with your hard earned.
If the club is liquidated, and the funds are within the club, you could lose everything
If the “save rangers” fund is not regulated properly your money may not make it to the club”. Some who donated to Gersave may well be thinking the same thing.
“Save Rangers” is a good idea. No, it is, but it needs to be tangible, with real money donated, that can build up a real fund, with guarantees that all monies will be returned should the fund not be required, and it should be as clean as a whistle, with a respected and trustworthy Ranger at it’s helm
If you have any ideas, post them below

WP Archives: Who Can We Trust to run Rangers (Feb 22 2012)

Earlier this week, I posted of the possibility of Martin Bain returning to Ibrox as Chief Executive.

Shocking as it is, the events that have led up to this situation where Rangers Chairman Craig Whyte is now Persona Non Grata amongst the Rangers support are remarkable.

While more revelations about Whyte’s tenure are breaking each day as the Administrators unravel a custodianship which is surely doomed, the drip feed of damning evidence about Whyte is intriguing.

The BBC, as long term adversary of the club, didn’t take kindly in to being forced to apologise to the club for inappropriate editing of an Ally McCoist interview.

It appeared that they licked their wounds and decided to make it personal on Whyte.

When Clydebank based Celtic supporter Mark Daly of the BBC presented a hatchet job on Whyte on the Panorama programme,  there were a number of allegations that mirrored those on the now infamous Rangers Tax Blog, with a couple of extra ones thrown in for measure.

Whyte threatened to sue.

He didn’t.

It spoke volumes.

The blog continued to publish allegations almost on a daily basis. Of course, it had been rubbished by Whyte, but carried on regardless.

That also spoke volumes.

It began to become apparent that the blog had access to, or was being passed information from inside the club. Whether first hand, second hand or even third hand, it appeared to be coming from inside the club, and it’s final destination known by the first hand leak.

Interestingly, around the same time as Martin Bain was meeting the man alleged to be part of Paul Murray’s consortium, Douglas Park, a post appeared on Rangers fan forum by a senior poster and former Board member of an influential Rangers Supporters group, stating that “All Rangers fans should read the Rangers Tax Case blog, it’s true”.

Now how exactly this individual would know this is up for debate, but it certainly appears that this was more than an educated guess, and that said influential Rangers fan had been advised of this by a contact very close to the club.

The news of the Ticketus deal, and questions over HMRC issues facing the club were broken in the Daily Record by James Traynor on Jan 31, with information and quotes supplied by Paul Murray.

It seemed then that the gloves were off, and as more allegations and revelations have appeared in the Record, and on the BBC it has looked more and more like a sustained campaign by Murray and Alastair Johnston to stage what amounts to a hostile takeover.

While Whyte isn’t exactly covering himself in glory, and has almost certainly lied to various journalists and fan groups on the subject of Administration, those lining up to oust him are curiously in harmony with the Rangers haters at the BBC, The Daily Record and the Rangers Tax Case blog.

Have they been dancing with the devil, and sanctioned a leak of information to these individuals and organisations hell bent on damaging the club? I sincerely hope not

With  some influential Rangers supporters’ groups challenging Whyte strongly over the last few weeks, and backing Murray’s “Blue Knights” proposed consortium, as the club has now dipped in to Administration, there are questions  over how long this hostile takeover has been planned, who has been involved, and who, with links to the Trust or Murray, has been feeding the media.

This situation has been good for the  Rangers Supporters Trust. As it stands, I understand they are processing hundreds of new memberships, at a tenner a pop. More on this later in the week

While the numerous revelations about Whyte are big news in Scotland, the suspicion that RTC, and Phil Mac Giolla Bhain are picking these stories up first in some cases casts a huge shadow over the prospect of Bain or Murray returning, and of the Trust’s enthusiastic backing of Paul Murray.

Murray of course was a Non Executive Director of Rangers during the period that many of Rangers financial issues were present. His official PR people, and unofficial supporters on FF, RM and VGB argue that Murray and Johnston were crucial in reducing the club’s debt to Lloyds from £32M to £18M, when the reality is that revenue from successful cup runs in Scotland and in European competition were the largest factors, with Lloyds absolutely strangling the club, and key players being sold.

The best summary of Murray’s time at the club comes from another Rangers hating site, Celtic Quick News, which pointed out several responsibilities of Murray’s former role at Ibrox, and how he failed to carry them out.

When long time Whyte defender David Leggat did a complete about turn on Whyte, it rang alarm bells with many bears who know him to have reliable contacts.

It raises the belief in long term supporters of Whyte that they have indeed been duped, but leaves a bad taste in the mouth that the likely replacements may well comprise of individuals who not only were present through Rangers decline, but actively toppled the current custodian by using bigoted anti Rangers activists in the process

Of course, leaks from within the club may be so common that there is more than one leak, and that there is absolutely no connection between the RTC, The Record, the BBC and any of those currently jostling for power at Ibrox.

I sincerely hope that this is the case, and that those leaking sensitive information from the club to outsiders are first to leave the club when the Administration task is complete.

 Bill.

30/10/12 NB: I should clarify that these articles are being added for reference purposes. I know and don't need reminded that the situation at Rangers has completely changed.
I should also clarify that Daly is not Clydebank based, but Clydebank raised.

WP Archives: Paul Murray & Who (Feb 19 2012)

As rumours grow of a Paul Murray Blue Knights consortium including some familiar moneyed supporters, one name keeps appearing, that of Douglas Park. He has money, that is true. Can he rescue the club? Well that is a different question. He would need to be joined in “the blue knights” by others with serious cash. For the purposes of this article it may be useful to assume that the money is indeed there and that some type of deal can be reached with HMRC.

Lets fast forward then to a mythical place where the club is debt free, Craig Whyte and co are gone and  Murray’s knights are in place forming a new board.

Obviously Murray fancies himself to be Chairman, so that’s a given.
Park will clearly have a role to play,  as will some money men.

They will then set about restructuring the club and appointing people in to key positions. Who could possibly be lined up to be Chief Executive?

I understand that Douglas Park recently entertained Martin Bain in his office for a number of hours. I also understand he never hired a coach or bought a car. Could he then be in line to return to the club?

Is the “Blue Knights” an idea that just appeared this week, or has it been planned for some time?

Free Conor McGhie

I was made aware of a petition this morning to release a boy jailed for three months after falling foul of the new anti sectarian laws in Scotland
I should make it clear. I abhor bigotry in all its forms, and also believe that McGhie should be condemned for his behaviour.

He should not be serving three months in prison for it though; should not have been publicly shamed, and should not have not had his life turned upside down, and be at risk of losing everything for singing a song, as offensive as it may be.

The galling thing is that the same Sherriff one week earlier sentenced a man in possession of 1400 indecent images of children to community service.

Yes, you read that right, the Sherriff handed out a lesser punishment to a paedophile, than he did to a boy singing an offensive song.

This is not North Korea. This boy should not be in jail.

Sign the petition

Note that across Glasgow, the support for Republican sectarian terror gangs goes on unabated.

Not only is the law an ass, it is also being applied inconsistently.
Those who created this "Anti Sectarian" law, should not be in position, and should be pressured to explain how this law is being applied.

Contact your MSP and MP to ask why a paedophile can have a lesser punishment than a football fan shouting some obscenities.

Keep Calm and Carry On

I’ve known for a long time that some obsessive Celtic fans are more concerned with Rangers than they are with their own team, but any perception that they would be able to concentrate on their own team while we battle it out in Division 3, has been absolutely shattered as both the extremist supporters and their apologists in the media have continued their obsession with the club, and in some cases, look to have taken their obsession to a whole new level.

I was being slightly facetious on Friday when I penned a quiz predicting how Alex “Toxic” Thomson’s black propaganda piece would pan out, but I was actually very close to the truth.
I do not claim to be a mindreader, nor privy to some inside knowledge from Channel 4,  but it was possibly the easiest set of predictions I could ever have made

“1- Has anyone been charged with any offence in relation to any of the anecdotes or "accounts"?”

To Date? No-one has been charged with any offence relating to threatening any journalists. The programme didn’t offer anything of substance either

2-Do any of the "victims" have a shareholding in Celtic FC?

Other than Matt McGlone, I’d be interested to know. Perhaps an FOI should be in order

3-Will Thomson call Strathclyde Police corrupt for stating his own claims of threats were "laughable" –

Not directly, but his conspiracy theories implicate the media in some kind of cover up over Rangers fans, and hint at the same from Strathclyde Police. Not only does he (again) have zero evidence to support his theory, he ignores the major cover up of the last few decades, namely the Celtic Boys Club scandal. Nor will he uncover the facts of Dermot Desmond owned Castlebeck Care home, as blogged by David Leggat this morning.

No, why use facts about Celtic or those associated to the club, when you can use fiction about Rangers?

4-How many "victims" have a criminal record?

Perhaps FOIs would clarify this too. I know at least one participant with an alternative view had or has a very bad cocaine habit.

5-How many "victims" are called Graham Spiers?

This was obviously going to happen wasn’t it?

6-What % of “victims” are members of Celtic minded?

I’d hazard a guess at 70-80%

7-How many have credible evidence of threats?

Er, none?

8-How many have been "tarred with a sectarian brush"

Thomson’s friend Phil seems to come over all shy. Perhaps even they won’t put him in front of a camera. They certainly aren’t going to put his other friend, Paul McConville in front of the camera, at least not before the watershed.

9-How many have written hate filled articles about Rangers and don't take kindly to being challenged or ridiculed online?

Other than Thomson, Spiers, McGlone and Hutton?

10-How many are sporting celtic colours for the first time this season?

Some of them just do it in secret. How sad.

So while my fellow bloggers Leggat, Bill McMurdo and Chris Graham are rightly taking these to task, the club remain quiet.

The previously balshy Charles Green seems to have been silenced by the re-appearance of Craig Whyte. That should ring alarm bells.

I’d disagree with McMurdo that Green was over the top in his bigotry claims re the SPL, but would question why Green is now silent  as our club is slated on national television by republican bigots and bullys, and lied about on a daily basis.

McMurdo has been a breath of fresh air in the blogging world, with a  slightly leftfield view from the norm, but he seems to have called it right on Green needing to be watched, and Whyte needing to be treaded around in order to get his co-operation in answering questions that Rangers fans should be allowed to see (even if we disagree with what he is saying). I’d far rather that McMurdo was doing the asking, rather than some agenda led bigot at the BBC.

Following the C4 hatchet job on the support, Rangers fans expect Charles Green or Malcolm Murray to seek answers from Channel 4. Why aren’t they?

If they can pull themselves away from the important club business this week, they should also be calling out and humiliating both Thomson another lying journalist in the shape of the Mirror’s Brian McNally, who took to twitter yesterday to allege that Rangers fans sang “the famine song” at Broadwood, despite it being untrue.

It seems that in the absence of any real threats, that several bigoted Celtic Minded bloggers and hacks are trying to goad Rangers fans in to making it real.

When Tom English and various other journos stated bluntly that they do not even know any journo who has been subjected to any threats, he and others were abused by McGlone and co and called liars.
English, as some readers will know, is a journalist who is no friend of the Rangers support, but calls it as he sees it, and has put Thomson in his place on more than one occasion

So while McNally is simply lying, and Thomson is carefully working to an anti Rangers agenda, actual online “threats” from Celtic fans to James Traynor of the Record, and Matt Lindsay of the Evening Times have been ignored.

I could understand why Rangers fans could be incensed by such hatred, but my message to Rangers fans is to continue to calmly challenge the lies and metaphorically take these people on via blogs and websites, and do not rise to the bait.
We have behaved admirably in the last year in the most testing of circumstances, and I have no doubt that no other major support in the country would have reacted with the dignity that we have.

Keep Calm and Carry On
Bill

--

I’ve had some feedback on a previous blog on Thomson where I stated about his boss being Jim Gray. I should be clear. Gray has now moved on from ITN.
Thomsons’s immediate bosses at ITN are now Ben De Pear and Shaminder Nahal, however both were appointed AFTER Thomson started his pr0paganda war against Rangers.

The only conclusion I can make then, is that he is being sanctioned from “above” this team to undertake this work

Some commentators have concluded that Rangers hater Stuart Cosgrove, in his role at Channel 4 is leading this agenda, and that may well be something that the station could clarify, however, I’m more concerned that this focus on Cosgrove deflects away from Channel 4’s Head of News and Current Affairs Dorothy Byrne.

Byrne, like Gray, is from Paisley. She appointed De Pear and calls the shots for the programme.

Perhaps Byrne would like to explain why Thomson is allowed a platform to blacken the name of Rangers Football Club?

A Wee Quiz

As C4s Alex Thomson prepares his latest piece of black propaganda against Rangers supporters I thought viewers might appreciate a little quick quiz to consider while they watch.
Clearly no Rangers fan should watch this fiction, so this is aimed at the programme's unsuspecting viewers.

1- Has anyone been charged with any offence in relation to any of the anecdotes or "accounts"?
2-Do any of the "victims" have a shareholding in Celtic FC.
3-Will Thomson call Strathclyde Police corrupt for stating his own claims of threats were "laughable"
4-How many "victims" have a criminal record?
5-How many "victims" are called Graham Spiers?
6-What % of victims are members of Celtic minded?
7-How many have credible evidence?
8-How many have been "tarred with a sectarian brush"
9-How many have written hate filled articles about Rangers and don't take kindly to being challenged or ridiculed online?
10-How many are sporting celtic colours for the first time this season?

Never take a known liar at face value.

Fight For The Future

As the fight for Scotland’s future heats up, with both the SNP Separatist campaign and the “better together” campaign starting up in earnest, it seems clear to me that the Scottish people are going to be subject to a relentless stream of “information” over the next two years, with vast sums of money spent by the various political parties to grab the hearts and minds of the populace in Scotland, in order to secure the necessary support for their side.

“Side” may be a strong word for us Scots, and many will still be counted as swing voters still sitting on the fence, but there has already been some deliberate polarisation of the unionist community, with prominent Nat Joan McAlpine, already questioning Unionist Scots credentials as true Scots, on more than one occasion.

Her claim that supporters and members of every mainstream political party other than the SNP are “Anti Scottish” resulted in calls for her resignation

http://news.stv.tv/politics/293417-parties-clash-over-msps-anti-scottish-claims/

Notably, McAlpine is still in position, so we can therefor safely assume that her views are not out of sync with Alex Salmond’s. After all, if they were, she’d have been publicly dressed down or sacked.

So, like it or not, Scots will be forced in to a side at some point over the next two years, and the media will do their best to sell newspapers or further their agenda based upon one thing, what will be best for them.

Whether you get told the truth will be another matter.

You also can’t assume that because a newspaper is “English”, that it will tell you the truth.

What you should take as read, is that anything written in any News International publication, should not be taken at face value, and should be verified elsewhere before you can trust it.
It has already been well documented elsewhere that Alex Salmond has the backing of Rupert Murdoch.

I have already noticed “The Sunday Times” publishing nationalist propaganda, yet there is still a perception out there that this is a Tory Unionist newspaper.

Murdoch’s business is to sell newspapers and ensure a right wing slant on the “news”, depending on what benefits him the most, and to manipulate the masses in to securing right wing government control
He is also conversant with the rule of divide and conquer, and is well aware that a “yes” vote in Scotland will most likely ensure that the Labour Party in England and Wales will never get back in to power unless they become a carbon copy of the tory party.

What this tells you, is that despite the Nationalists on the ground selling themselves as a socialist alternative to the labour party of the middle ground, with the headline grabbing policies of free education, and free prescriptions, is that they are happy to use the right wing Murdoch to secure separation at any cost to both Scotland and our UK neighbours, and that many of their economic policies are decidedly right wing.

Over the next 2 years I will comment on some of these policies and public pronouncements and hope to both shed some light on information being withheld to the public, and to represent the silent unionist majority in Scotland.

As a Rangers fan I see this as a simple extension of my identity
Other Rangers fans may disagree, but I believe that like cybernats in general, they are in the minority.

As my blog has had the tagline “Rangers rants and much more” since it’s inception, I’ve felt for a long time that I was perhaps neglecting the non Rangers content.

I’m now hoping to redress that imbalance, although I promise to comment on the Rangers topics of the time, and maintain a focus on areas I feel that I can add value and influence.

Now on blogspot

I have moved on to blogger, due to issues with Wordpress
