Turnbull Hutton’s Selective Agenda

It seems that Turnbull Hutton is trying to out-do his fellow participants from Alex "Toxic" Thomson’s fictional propaganda piece on the Rangers support last Friday.

This week, Thomson himself, Graham Spiers, and now Hutton are repeating and repeating again their evidence-free allegations against the support.

Hutton’s attack on Alex Salmond was bordering on bizarre, with a wide ranging assault on the SNP Administration’s efforts on “Sectarianism”.

Firstly, he alleges threats to himself, his football club, and Alex Thomson, without a shred of evidence.
Then he takes it further by implying this is a problem connected to sectarianism.

Quite how he arrived at that conclusion is anyone’s guess.

Thomson claims a “Scottish Presbyterian” heritage, and no one knows or cares what religion Hutton is.
If there were any “threats”, I’d like to know how they could possibly be sectarian?

The claims of Salmond’s administration being weak on sectarianism, are only partially true.

If you are a Rangers fan, you get followed around the country by the FOCUS STASI, and if you support any other team, you are given carte blanche to sing and do as you like, especially is the recipient is a supporter of Rangers  or a player for Rangers.

Hutton has a bee in his bonnet about “sectarianism” and about the Rangers support, but seems mute when  Raith Rovers fans step out of line.

I don’t recall him requesting that his own fans refrain from singing sectarian slogans?

Perhaps he missed it.

Maybe this will refresh his memory.

In this game you can hear the Rovers fans sing as follows:

6:00 minutes in (“Go home Ya Huns)
7:20 minutes in (“Sad Orange Bastard”)
9:16 minutes in (“Dirty Orange Bastards”)

Will Turnbull turn his anger on his own support, or is it only Rangers fans who wish integrity and transparency, and won’t be silenced by bullies trying to suppress free speech, that he has an issue with?

We should be told

Bill
